POST-TRIP INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
49 CFR 396.11 requires drivers to complete a written DVIR at the end of each driving day. Report ALL defects or deficiencies discovered. The motor carrier must repair any items affecting safety before the vehicle returns to service.
