Main Deck Structure
- Inspect the main beams and frame for cracks, bends, or damage
- Check the cross members for proper alignment and secure attachment
- Inspect the deck surface for cleanliness and security
- Check the condition of any drop sections or well sections
Loading Ramps & Equipment
- Ensure loading ramps are in good condition and free from damage
- Check the hinges and pivot points for wear or lubrication needs
- Verify the ramp surface has adequate traction for safe loading
- Check hydraulic ramp cylinders for leaks or damage (if applicable)
Post-Trip Inspection
Brake System
- Check the air brake hoses for leaks and wear
- Verify proper brake chamber mounting and condition
- Check the slack adjusters and brake drum wear
- Ensure all brake lights are functioning properly
Hydraulic System
- Inspect hydraulic fluid levels in reservoirs
- Check all hydraulic hoses and connections for leaks
- Inspect hydraulic cylinders for damage or leaks
- Test hydraulic systems for proper function
Wheels & Tires
- Check tire pressure and tread depth
- Inspect the rims for cracks or damage
- Ensure all lug nuts are tightened to specification
- Check hub oil levels (if applicable) and inspect for leaks
